A Day and Evening of Events for NJ’s Farm to School Network
All you supporters of the NJ Farm to School movement listen up: the folks behind the New Brunswick restaurants Tula and Evelyn’s have planned fundraising events on Sunday, July 22 called Embrace the Taste of New Jersey.
From noon to 4 pm, there will be 7 stations serving up seasonal dishes with ingredients donated by are farmers and food artisans in the outdoor garden at Evelyn’s. A $10 donation gets you in.
At Tula, chef Michael Anthony is offering a 5-course farm-t0-fork dinner that night. The menu will use pork from Cherry Grove Farm, scallops from Viking Village, produce from North Slope and ER Farms, Jersey peaches and blueberries, and ice cream from Thomas Sweet. The cost is $80.
For info, reservations, and directions phone 732.246.0014, or click on the Tula link, above.
