Before you scroll down to get the scoop on the latest culinary luminaries about to visit our Ivy League town, check out my May 25th In the Kitchen column in the Princeton Packet about a gastronomic event of a different stripe: an annual Italian feast at Princeton University that is, in effect, the final exam for students taking a course titled The Literature of Gastronomy. Rachael Ray’s tome is The Book of Burger and she’ll be signing away beginning at 6 pm on Wednesday, June 6. Of course, you’ll need to get a wristband first (the line forms at 4 pm), and purchase at least one copy of the book from Barnes & Noble to even get in line to meet the popular TV host. For more details – including the all-important email address to get exact instructions – click here.
Following quickly on Ray’s heels will be Ted Allen, on Wednesday, June 13 at 7 pm. The host of TV’s Chopped and recent Beard Award winner will hold a chat about as well as sign his book In My Kitchen: 100 Recipes and Discoveries for Passionate Cooks.
You get priority seating with book purchase from Barnes & Noble. Line passes will be distributed starting at 5 pm. For more info and the email address to get exact instructions, click here.
